Direct Funding is for families who need help with the upfront cost of an instrument. We pay the store directly and you pick up the instrument with a voucher. Reimbursement is for families who have already purchased an instrument and need financial assistance. We reimburse you for the cost after you submit your application and receipt.
We typically review applications within 3-5 business days. For Direct Funding, once approved, we coordinate with the store and you can usually pick up your instrument within a week. For Reimbursement, we process payments within 7-10 business days after approval.
We don't have strict income requirements, but we prioritize families who demonstrate financial need. We consider various factors including family size, expenses, and circumstances. Our goal is to help families who genuinely need assistance to access music education.
Yes! Schools can apply for multiple instruments up to our program limit of $2,000 per application. We encourage schools to apply for what they need to expand their music programs. Schools can submit multiple applications throughout the year if needed.
We cover all types of musical instruments including strings, woodwinds, brass, percussion, keyboards, and guitars. We also cover essential accessories like cases, stands, and maintenance supplies. The instrument must be for educational purposes and appropriate for the student's age and skill level.
